This week, Ryan and I are incredibly excited to be traveling to Lake Logan Martin in Alabama, where we will have the honor of making kayak fishing history by
attending the inaugural Huk Bassmaster B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series powered by TourneyX presented by Abu Garcia.
But the road to the big stage isn't going to be an easy one...
We're heading into completely new fishing territory, essentially blind - because we won't have the chance to prefish - and to make things even more interesting, the weather is going to be a bit challenging, and there doesn't seem to be any signs of the rain letting up before the tournament on Thursday.
Luckily, I'm confident in our fishing skills, my mapping skills, and our ability to adapt to new and changing fishing conditions.
If you want to tune in on Thursday, March 6th, TourneyX gives spectators the opportunity to watch a live leaderboard during the tournament, which you can watch here for Lake Logan Martin.
If you want to tune in for the second Huk B.A.S.S. Nation Tournament on March 14th, you can watch here for Lake Fork, Texas. Ryan and I will be competing in that tournament as well!
